Grandhotel Starý Smokovec

Grandhotel Starý Smokovec dominates the famous village of Starý Smokovec, one of the most known resorts of the High Tatras. The rich history of the hotel has begun at the foot of Mt. Slavkovský štít in 1904. Saxon crown prince Frederick Augustus was the first guest of the hotel and hundreds of eminent personalities have stayed in the hotel ever since. After more than 100 years and thousands of stories, the oldest jewel located in the heart of the High Tatras launches a new chapter of its existence. From the summer of 2018, Grandhotel welcomes its guests with an updated design but with the still unique atmosphere of the previous century.
