Jasná is the largest Slovak ski resort. The longest lit night skiing piste in Central Europe, outside of the Alps with its 2.7 kilometres is the latest innovation. Jasná guarantees snow for at least five months of the year thanks to its modern, extensive snowmaking system and high altitude, covering over 34 km of trails with snow. This system provides snow reliability and allows the resort, the largest in Slovakia, to open for the season from December to April, offering skiing for all levels.

Tatranska Lomnica is a modern ski paradise located inside the beautiful scenery of the High Tatras with the longest slope in Slovakia (5km) and elevation 1300masl.

The highest located settlement in the High Tatras is Štrbské Pleso. It is attractive especially for families, advanced skiers and cross-coutry skiers.

Skipark Ružomberok (Malino Brdô) is a smaller family ski resort resort amid beautiful pine forests with ski slopes of all difficulties. In summer, the resort turns into a paradise for downhill cyclists - a bike park with more than 20 km of trails of varying difficulty. You can comfortably take your bike up by 8-seater cable car, and in just 10 minutes by cable car you will find yourself in Malino Brdo and you can ride as much as you can.

Very famouse winter activity- Ski touring, is wide spread at High Tatras and Liptov reagion. Both regions have great possibilities for this activity. Warning: Be carefull at the avalanche areas!
