Mt. Lomnický štít (2. highest) is probably the most sought out attraction in the Tatras region. It canbe reached by a special cable car, which overcomes the altitude difference of 868 m.

Jasná is the largest Slovak ski resort. The longest lit night skiing piste in Central Europe, outside of the Alps with its 2.7 kilometres is the latest innovation. Jasná guarantees snow for at least five months of the year thanks to its modern, extensive snowmaking system and high altitude, covering over 34 km of trails with snow. This system provides snow reliability and allows the resort, the largest in Slovakia, to open for the season from December to April, offering skiing for all levels.

High Tatras are known also for great opportunities for cross-country skiing with more than 80 km of cross-country trails.

Tatranska Lomnica is a modern ski paradise located inside the beautiful scenery of the High Tatras with the longest slope in Slovakia (5km) and elevation 1300masl.

The highest located settlement in the High Tatras is Štrbské Pleso. It is attractive especially for families, advanced skiers and cross-coutry skiers.

On the ski slopes you find many on slope bars for your entertainment. The après-ski bars are the places to meet family and friends, a great opportunity to get to know new people, take some fast food and relax before, after and during skiing.

Tatralandia is the largest year round water fun complex in Slovakia. It is situated in the town of Liptovsky Mikulas in the Liptov region, next to the Liptovská Mara dam and village Liptovsky Trnovec.

The AquaCity is a popular waterpark with thermal water and sport complex in Poprad. It´s two-floor wellness centre is the biggest in Slovakia.
